Abarkuh or Abarghoo is one of the spectacular cities of Yazd province. Due to having numerous historical monuments, this city appears as one of the favorite cities of tourists. This Abarkuh tomb tower is one of the most intact buildings left from the Daylamites era. Some experts attribute its construction to the Seljuk era. The inscription on the stem of the tower’s dome indicates that the building has been built in the middle of the 11th century AD.

This inscription also refers to the reason for the construction of the Ali tomb. According to the text engraved on it, the son of Amid al-Din Shams al-Dawla Ali Hazarasab of the Daylamite dynasty, i.e., a ruler name Firoozan ordered the construction of this tomb as his father’s tomb. Even today, after thousands of years, many travelers come to this area to visit the tomb and explore around it.
